Apply to Faciliate
Host a Workshop
The Loaded Ladle is looking for facilitators to run a workshop, program, or ongoing series. We are looking for facilitators to cover topics of food justice, food insecurity, and food sovereignty, however, we are always open to suggested topics.
No prior experience is needed! Hosting your first workshop ever? We will help you with all the logistics!
All facilitators will be supported with:
Access to our community kitchen, food, and equipment
Assistance with operational logistics and promotion
Financial support for extra food and supplies
Facilitator Honorarium (dependent on funding)
The Loaded Ladle is committed to supporting communities most impacted by food injustice in Nova Scotia. Facilitators who identify as a member of these communities or have lived experience of food injustice will be given priority.
Looking for cooking workshop leaders
Share your favorite meals with your community! The Loaded Ladle is hoping to host folks to lead a cooking workshop in our community kitchen! The project two main goals: sharing food knowledge with each other and creating meals for the campus community fridge.
Use the form below to apply to be a workshop leader for this program! No experience is necessary, just a love for food, and willingness to share your skills with others in a caring environment.
We are hoping to offer six workshops in total over the course of the 2024/25 school year. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so feel free to apply as long as the form is open!
