Öykü Su Gürler, She/Her
Campus Mobilization Coordinator
I look at ways to increase access to student-led food on campus through workshops, Breakfast Club, and other ways of information sharing. Contact me if you are interested in starting a project around food justice on campus!
Combining food and community is one my favourite things! Beyond that I love building projects, crocheting, our liberation from oppressive capitalism, and my cat Truffles :)

I love spending time with my family! We cook, watch movies, go on adventures, and play with our dog Nico. I enjoy cooking and baking at home and also recently got into knitting and have finished making a scarf!

Hana Morgan, She/Her
Community Kitchen Facilitator
I'll be in the kitchen helping out with daily servings with the rest of the Ladle Crew! I am super excited to cook some awesome meals this year! I am also in my fourth year at Dal in international development, sociology, and Indigenous studies, so you may see me around campus!
Some of my favourite activities are biking, hiking, and reading!

Ming Scott, They/Them/She/Her
Community Kitchen Facilitator
I keep prep, cooking, serving, and cleaning in our community kitchen running smoothly and engage our lovely volunteers!
Wearing my other hat, I do data analysis for Feed Nova Scotia at the Innovation and Learning Lab. In my free time, I love to cook, swim, play TTRPGs, pick up a giant sword to play Jugger, rollerskate, and bike all over the HRM.
-
Alicia Guo, She/Her
Solidarity Serving Coordinator
I’m the go-to person for Solidarity Serving program. If your group or event is in need of some tasty hot meals and treats, give me a shout! I’m excited about boosting community vibes with food, creating spaces for sharing tales and active listening.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll find me scaling bouldering walls, handcrafting jewelry, or wandering the city.
-
Maia Reville, She/Her
Community Engagement Coordinator
I work with volunteers both in and out of the kitchen, and help prepare some of the Ladle's meals! I'm here to keep volunteers engaged and meet their needs while they provide an essential service. Reach out if you have any interest in volunteering, whether that be in the kitchen, making Ladle art, or doing online work!
Outside of Ladle, I do community work at a shelter, and volunteer at the DSU's food bank. My hobbies include making art (mostly oil pastels), cooking, and reading sci-fi and fantasy! Always feel free to tell me about the book you're reading!
